One Blog Only

~Hello Dear Friends of my Blogs~
I have decided to once again unite my family and creative life, Molly Mouse, and of course Hittyville, into one blog.  My very own family members told me trying to keep track of three blogs was confusing...and I am happy to oblige by keeping all my stories in one place.
My homebase blog will be www.hittyville.org
which is also
www.hittyvilleadventures.blogspot.com
I feel more centered already...and eager to share all kinds of stories and adventures!

Abe's Jamaican Adventure

Hello there, everybody!  Here I am...on an airplane again...and guess where I am going?

JAMAICA!

As you may have guessed, this was not a solo trip...Daddy and Mommy were accompanying me.

I don't think I am quite ready to travel alone and Mommy would miss me with her whole heart...Daddy too.

At last...
We stayed at a beautiful resort called Riu Negrel.

 Nice and green!

I called this tree "Abe's Fan Tree".

The lobby was filled with fantastic fans and for those of you who know me...you know how much I LOVE fans!  I called this room "Fan Heaven".

Some day I am going to paint a picture just like this one.
I named this art piece..."Barrels of Fun in Jamaica".

I am getting ready to taste my first fruit smoothie...Jamaican-Style.
It was DELICIOUS!

In our room...
I had my very own toy drawer.

It was finally time to visit the beach.
Do I look like a tourist or what?

My dog sisters would have loved playing in that fountain pool!

I could hear the waves talking to one another.

I named this wood carving "Jamaica Joe" in honor of my Grandpa Joe, who works with wood everyday.

I wanted to take the Glass Bottom Boat ride, but Mommy and Daddy didn't think I was quite ready for an hour long ride.
Maybe next time...

There were lots of tiny shops and eating places along the beach.

And now...for my favorite part of the trip...THE BEACH!
Now I see the Caribbean Sea...

 And now I don't!

I practiced my crab crawl on the beach!

I was hoping for a ride on a surfboard.
Now that would have been awesome!

This is me after I found out the beach we were on was named Bloody Bay Beach to commemorate the capture of the late great pirate, Calico Jack Rackham, many years ago.

Mommy assured me the pirates were gone, never to return again.

The Jamaican music put me in a happy mood after all that pirate business!

I sure loved my time in Jamaica!
I think I am going to become a beach bum when I grow up...as long as there are no pirates around.
I can't wait to share that news with Mommy and Daddy when my words start making sense to them.

None of us were really ready to leave this little piece of Paradise...but there is a big adventure waiting for us when we return to Ohio.
The Carlson Family will be moving into their FIRST house and the best part is there is a pool with absolutely NO pirates anywhere!

~See you next time...Love from Abe~

A Pixie and Dixie Adventure

My friend, Deb Weaver, just adopted two 7 week old Teacup Chihuahua puppies.
Pixie is enjoying the beautiful sunny afternoon in her front yard.

And then...
Pixie wonders what her sister, Dixie, is doing.  She is awfully quiet.

Dixie is playing with a twig.  Pixie thinks that looks like a lot of fun.

Pixie asks Dixie if she would like to play Tug of War with the twig.

Dixie is not being very cooperative, so Pixie decides to take matters into her own paws.

Dixie is not very happy with this most unfortunate turn of events!

Later...
Mama Deb tells her beloved puppies it is time to go inside for a nap.
Dixie is letting Pixie know that from now on if she wants a twig to play with, she will have to find one of her own.

Sibling rivalry...There is no escaping it.

I look forward to many more adventures with Pixie and Dixie...The cutest Chihuahua puppies EVER!

Father's Day 2014

Over the years, the meaning of Father's Day has evolved for me.
As a child, this special day centered around my father.
And then, as I had my own children, Joe became Brooke and Noah's father figure and to this day continues to be greatly celebrated every June.
And now...my son is a father.
Life is all about cherishing the past and enjoying and living in the present.
Happy Father's Day to my dad, Joe, and now...Noah!
~Much love to you all~

Jamaica Abe

Abe, along with his parents, is having the time of his life vacationing in Jamaica.  He LOVES the ocean!

Abe is living the life...That's for sure!
When was the last time you were in Jamaica?
For me, that would be never...

~I love that Noah and Amy include Abe in all of their adventures~

Back To My Projects

Now that the party is over, I can concentrate on the Walton Family and their homestead.

I found this doll house Joe and I bought at Home Depot a couple of years ago and thought this might be just perfect for the Walton's home!

I started painting the pieces early this morning.

I also journeyed to Hobby Lobby to get all the supplies for Abe's First Birthday Party Scrapbook!

Now I feel like my life is getting back to normal...whatever that is!

The Migration of the Tremont Family

After a wonderful birthday party, Noah, Amy, and Abe are headed to Jamaica for a mini vacation planned well ahead of what turned out to be a happy surprise...the purchase of their FIRST house!

When Noah, Amy, and Abe return from their trip, they will be preparing for a move to West Park...a beautiful little area in Cleveland, Ohio.  The pictures tell just a tiny bit of the story, but more will be following.

Abe is going to love his beautiful new home and fantastic neighborhood!
~To definitely be continued~
